Referral System
A simple, single referral form is used to refer young people to Inroads. This can be completed by a worker from any agency working with young people. Young people can also self-refer.
When a referral is made, a member of the Inroads team will invite the young person in for a chat. This first meeting will include:
- An assessment of the young person’s individual needs including additional support needs
- Signposting to Inroads services based on the Inroads action plan and completion of registration details and/or
- Signposting to services with another provider
- It may also involve an assessment of literacy and numeracy needs.
