Inroads

Inroads is a partnership project and was started in 1998 to help young people in Kirklees get back into learning, education and jobs.
Most of the young people we help are or have been homeless or are in housing need. They may also be facing other issues as well.
Inroads at SHAP is a small team that has developed to offer a range of options to these young people.
We assist young people to access a variety of services provided by us and offer additional support to help them to move onto other services when they are ready.
Inroads is funded from a variety of sources including:
- YSDF through the V6 Vision Project
- Adult & Community Learning
- Connexions
- Charitable Trusts and donations from companies
